Roland DG announces winner of RapidPro contest
Roland DG organized a contest for the visitors of the RapidPro trade show in Veldhoven (The Netherlands). Christian Rosseel from Belgium is the lucky winner of an iModela milling machine.
The contest was organized both at the Roland DG/Delft Spline Systems booth and at the Mavom stand. Participants were asked to estimate how long it took to mill a specific prototype with a Roland MDX-540S milling machine. Christian Rosseel made the best estimation and wins an iModela. This compact milling machine has three axes and is designed to mill models and parts in foam, wax, balsa wood and plastic.
Christian Rosseel reacts: “This device is just what I need. At the moment, I’m developing parts of a controllable slider for photo and video applications. I already have a lot of experience in designing 3D models, and visited the RapidPro show because I was looking for a partner to develop 1:1 prototypes. Thanks to Roland DG, it’s likely that I will do that myself in the future. I’m very grateful for that!”
RapidPro 2013 is said to be the most important trade show with congress for the rapid and efficient development and production of prototypes and end-products. The show took place on 26 and 27 February in Veldhoven.
